Ápeiron | Senza confini: the Achille Forti Gallery Opens Its Doors to Contemporary Art
Curated by Patrizia Nuzzo and Isabella Brezigar
Palazzo Forti | February – April 2026
Palazzo Forti reopens its doors to the city with a new exhibition, marking the first stage of an ambitious program set to unfold in future editions, born from the collaboration between the Municipality of Verona and the Fondazione Cariverona. The reopening of the palace, in October 2025 on the occasion of the 20th edition of ArtVerona, was met with extraordinary public enthusiasm, confirming the community’s desire to experience and explore once again the historic halls of this landmark. This milestone reflects the commitment of the municipal administration and the Foundation to fully restore Palazzo Forti to the citizens and to strengthen Verona’s role as a hub of art, culture, and creativity.
Within this context, Ápeiron | Senza confini takes shape, an international-scale exhibition hosted in the rooms of the Achille Forti Gallery of Modern Art. The exhibition transforms the historic spaces into areas of dialogue and resonance, where works and installations by leading contemporary artists interact with the memory of the palace and the sensitivities of the present.
The works, drawn from the Gallery’s civic collection, explore the tensions and complexities of contemporary society: from fragmented and polarized communication to the multiple relationships between individuals, time, and memory; from the fleeting attraction of the global star system to reflections on gender identity; and up to ethical questions raised by scientific and technological progress.
